This image was captured while serving Jesus on a mission trip in Tanzania, Africa in 2024. On this particular day we were visiting a small community in extreme need and poverty. Our mission was primarily medical based and of course sharing the good news about our risen savior Jesus Christ. I would help our team with needs while toting my camera. As I was running back and fourth fulfilling needs I saw this little girl, I snapped with my camera inconspicuously as I walked by. I did not want to get her attention and lose the powerful expression.
I captured this image with my Nikon Z8 and a 24-70mm F 2.8 lens. This was shot at 70 mm, 1/400 sec at F 2.8. This subject was located in open shade with the sun behind her. I minimally processed this image, simply added some contrast and enhanced it a bit
