I captured this photo of my feline cat, Murphy, while he was sitting on a perch at the glass front door of my home bathing in the sunlight that was coming through. His head was turned towards me and I had to be stealthy when getting in position so as not to disturb him in such a way that would make him jump down. Disturbing him was not my only challenge, I had to ensure that I filled up the screen with his contemplative face while not allowing the sunlight in back of him to blowout the image. In post-processing, I converted the image to black and white, increased the exposure, and toned down the highlights.
