This was part of the same shoot as the other image—same garden, same inflatable pool, and yep... still freezing! This time I went for a tighter crop and focused on capturing that connection through the eyes and the way the light played on the water’s surface.
Camera setup was again the Sony A7 III with the Tamron 28–75mm and an ND filter.
For lighting, I blended natural daylight with a bare bulb Godox AD200 Pro to shape the light a bit more dramatically. The bare bulb gave that extra pop and specular highlight, especially in the reflections on the water and her skin. No reflector this time—just careful positioning and balancing between the two sources.
The mix of cold water and intense close-up work definitely made things more challenging, but the model stayed totally composed, and we managed to capture this calm, almost surreal moment.
