In this portrait I wanted soft, natural tones to keep the focus entirely on the model’s expression and skin texture. We were aiming for something simple but quietly powerful.
I used a Sony A7 III with the Tamron 28–75mm (shot at 75mm). Lighting-wise, I used a single Godox AD400 Pro shot into a large white reflective umbrella, and added a white reflector on cam left to lift the shadows a little and give a more polished falloff.
The model nailed that effortless look, and I feel the soft styling helped it feel timeless without trying too hard.
sheeesh.. great job.. I like that you left the stray hair strands there too
Thanks Reeno! I always try to leave things like that to keep the authenticity of the shot.
very good.
Thanks Hector!
