3.13 - "Solid"

This image is a meditation on solitude—where the walls have long forgotten laughter, and the light arrives not to warm, but to witness. I am drawn to moments when the human spirit bends, not to break, but to breathe. The subject sits with strength unspoken, caught between shadow and salvation.

Outstanding

This feels like a painting more than a photo. Great work!

The use of light to draw the viewer's eye is well done. The focal point - him holding his face - is kind of shadowed, which makes the viewer have to slow down and take in the deeper story of the photo. The only thing that distracts me are the man's feet - the shoelaces just jump out and the shoes could have been selectively darkened just a touch.
