This image was taken whilst on holiday in Japan. We visited a temple where young girls participate in a religious ceremony much like a confirmation. The ceremony is quite long, and the young girls often become distracted. I noticed this little girl looking bored and I managed to grab the shot as she looked my way.
It was a busy environment, so it was important to avoid intrusions and to get the shot just as she saw me.
Very little post processing has been involved, mainly cropping and levels adjustments.
