This is a self-portrait taken in 2018 in the photo studio of the company I was working for at the time, located outside of Bergen, Norway. The image was captured with a Nikon D200 camera and the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED lens, set at a focal length of 70mm and an aperture of f/8. The shutter speed was 1/250 of a second, and the ISO value was set to 100.
The studio lighting was planned after a period of testing different setups. The main light came from a single studio strobe with a softbox, positioned directly in front of me and slightly higher, angled downwards to provide even and flattering illumination. In addition, I used a separate strobe aimed at the background to create some light and separation. One of the initial challenges was adjusting the power of the main light so that it provided sufficient illumination without creating harsh shadows on my face. This was taken with a self-timer. I placed a camera tripod where I would be standing and used it as a focal point for manual focusing on the lens.
In post-processing, I made some basic adjustments, like white balance, sharpening and saturation.
Very good
