This is an image of my niece that I captured during a warm summer day in my backyard. She just got a new puppy and was playing with her while sitting in her mom's lap. She is a very exciting young girl who loves life and is mesmerized by the beauty of her surroundings, and, as well, by her very new puppy addition to her family. I used a Canon R5 with an RF/24-70mm lens with natural lighting. Minimal post-processing with Photoshop.

This is overly processed, and has motion blur. The skin looks very unnatural as well, and the cropping is just way too tight.

The last people that need skin smoothing are babies and toddlers, so any sort of retouching, other than maybe little scratches or dirt, are completely unnecessary.

Also, by leaving the little bit of light below her cheek, it looks like you simply darkened the top of the frame to oblivion.
