During a reenactment of the Napoleonic Battle of Loano (Italy), I was intrigued by the intimacy between a child and a horse (both reenactors). Despite both moving around quickly and not keen to pose I wanted to capture the fleeting moments of connection between the two. I decided to crouch low and in a few minutes I captured the shot. The gentle touch of the boy on the horse's side, the look in his eyes are exactly the elements I hoped to immortalize. Very light post processing to finalize the already dreamy look of the scene.
