Porpoising penguins are highly unpredictable and blazing fast. Even at a wide-ish focal length of 200mm, if they come close to the boat, grabbing focus is really tricky. The R3 managed to grab onto the subject's eye in an instant in the milliseconds it took me to find the penguins in the landscape. The 30fps sequence then allowed me to pick the right image from the bunch.
