While walking near the beach on vacation the evening before posting this (you said recent), I encountered a group of 30-40 teenagers waiting to jump into the water from bridge supports, perfectly silhouetted against the setting sun.

After snapping a few photos, I started walking down the beach and one of the teens asked if I was with the school. When I replied no and said the silhouette of him and his friends jumping into the water looked cool and showed him the picture, he proceeded to explain how they were all there for their senior night and were set to graduate next week. This was the last time that his friend group would likely be together, since some were going away to college and some were going into the military. The perfect symbolism between the setting sun and the move to adulthood for these graduating seniors.

Captured on my Fuji X100VI, which I purchased used last year well over MSRP, because I wanted a solid light weight camera to take with me when I traveled. The 40.2mp allowed me to crop in and get this composition, then I used LR for some color adjustments and to enhance the silhouette. Finally, I used Topaz AI's upscaling feature to regain what I lost in cropping.
