This is a 5 shot stitched panorama, taken in the vertical orientation with a 50mm focal length. Taken on Lake Michigan at Harrington Beach State Park at sunrise. Back in the film days I would take numerous 3 shot panos and try to line them up in the dark room but today's software simplifies the process offering mostly flawless stitching. Modern full frame high resolution cameras insure great quality even with 30% to 40% overlap.
