Nice one, next winter I will be there. Is it allowed to camp overnight to get the night sky? Do some astrophotography?
My man! I am an astrophotographer too, But I am not quite sure about if it is allowed, I think it is but you will need to check this AUla themselves
Altough They do offer this paid trip to Gharameel (AUla official stargazing spot) there there will take you via 4x4, give youa good dinner and 1 hout to 1 hour 30 minutes of stargazing time, you might be able to get good shots there
Btw I would not recommend camping all night alone (or even small 2 to 3 group) As it is said that somewhere in AlUla which they have sealed of btw but effects I think still remain, there was a strike from God, you might know this If you are a Muslim, (People of Looth Alaihissalam) so I would not go and camo there overnight, I am sorry if I am scaring you but I am advisiing you what I would do so It is your choice, Good Luck!
