Kestrels are one of my favorite birds to shoot. This small falcon lives on insects picked from the ground. I stood in good position by the post to which I hoped the Kestrel would return. I guessed correctly and was rewarded with a shot with the insect in its beak and an awesome wing position.

Very nice! So far, I've not be able to capture a really sharp image of one. The issue is that they usually start to be active late in the morning when heat haze from the ground kills the sharpness... Maybe by having one close enough it would counter that. Or of course an early-rising one or also on a windy day!
