Alaska in Bloom. We rented an RV to tour Alaska in 2022 during Summer Solstice. In addition to the scenery, the flowers were blooming. Of course I came home with fabulous landscapes, but using the landscape as a soft background for this flower shot was a fun departure from the norm. I didn't want to totally lose the location, so not hard bokah, just enough to set off the flower and still recognize where we were.

My setup is a simple Canon Rebel T5 and I traveled with a 50mm lens. For this shot of course I opened the aperture and laid in the weeds to get the right angle. Natural light.
