I had walked by this location several times and wanted to do a portrait here. The elements in the scene work really well with a shallow depth of field. I was able to use the wall sloping away to add dimension. The gradual transition to out of focus creates depth as the subject isn't just isolated a sea of blur.

This image was made stitching 9 frames with a Canon EOS M6 and a Nikon 85mm 1.8D mounted with an adapter. The long focal length on a APC camera enhanced the quality of the background blur while stitching allowed me to capture the desired field of view.
