This image was taken at a High School Track Meet. Typically I'll shoot from inside the track looking out, but the schools regulation only allowed photographers from their own school inside the track. I was forced to shoot from outside the fence, which worked out well. I was up closer than normal shooting through the fence at ground level. It looks like vingette added, however it's actually the black fence creating the effect. The constant in and out storms helped the colors pop with no hard shadows. The image was taken with a canon R1, RF 70-200 @ 70mm, 1/1000th, ISO 500.
