To challenge myself, I took an entire series of close-up photos of a jack-go-to-bed-at-noon (love that name!). I used different lenses and experimented with various crops and focal points, and I also photographed through colored plastic in front of the lens. My goal was to find as many different perspectives as possible and to learn how to explore a simple subject. This photo was ultimately taken with a Lensbaby Twist with extension tubes and a Lensbaby Omni. The little spider web is the finishing touch.
