A lone pile of rocks and weathered wooden cross, miles from anywhere. I have visited and photographed here many times over the years. Last visit I couldn’t find it, my memory failed me or had desert storms finally erased it, winds shattered the dry brittle wood cross, raging flash flood waters scattered the stones far and wide across the desert floor. ?
