I caught this moment of a Vulturine Guineafowl as it was spreading its wings and looking back at me over its breadth of feathers. Fuji X-T2 with a Fujinon 50-135mm lens at 119mm (180mm 35mm-equivalent) at f/2.8 to get the lower depth of field of the foreground feathers and the creamy bokeh of the background. Handheld at 1/1000 second focused on the eye froze the moment. Noon light on October 16, 2016 was overcast, so I could shoot without concern of harsh light. But it took an ISO of 2000 to shoot at 1/1000 sec, but Fuji sensors handle higher ISO well.
