I took this photo on a slightly overcast fall afternoon with my Fujifilm X-M5 and a 35mm f/2 lens with a 1/4 black mist filter. I had walked by this tree for days and everyday it seemed to intensify in color. I finally had my camera with me on this day and was able to get the shot. I shot wide open to let the background fall away and create depth. This image is straight out of camera with no post processing. The X-M5 is my first true camera and I’m testing myself and learning by doing a 365 day photo challenge, this was day 12. Hope you enjoy it.
