I've always been fascinated with the macro world of paints. There's a photographer, who's name I have completely forgotten (sorry lol ) that I've seen create these amazing macro shots of suspended paints that look like eyes and other things. If you know, please let me know!

For this shot I wanted to try a more chaotic approach to macro paints, rather than trying suspended. Though I did try it suspended in oil and milk( rather interesting actually) . This one, however, I used a bed of glitter and makeup, and diluted UV paints in blunt tipped syringes. I shot the colors out in spots, and then used a hair dryer to blow them out. The paints mixed beautifully in my opinion.

the lighting I used was a Godox SZ150R and a blacklight flood light to activate the UV paints. The Godox was set in color mode, and on a violet/purple color. This was more or less to make the makeup bed/glitter have color rather than it just be all black. Granted, all black would have made it pop more!
