Living up in the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle, WA, a lot of times we have an overcast, I was down on the water one afternoon and along the beach, there were around 50 Blue Heron. This Heron was actually chasing another Heron, but I actually missed getting the camera up in time, but I did capture this one. As I mentioned, the day was October 8, 2025, it was overcast, and everything was grey.

My camera gear consisted a Canon EOR R5, f/9, 1/1000 sec., ISO 640, the lens was a Canon 200 - 800mm lens, and focused in at 600mm
