This picture of a wasp and a spider was made during early morning hours under a shallow tree/canopy. Backlighted with natural soft early morning light and a low power flash with diffuser to fill shadows. Single shot, no compositing. Spider was hovering around the wasp for some time and I took a series of shots. Fortunately in this shot both the wasp and spider aligned on the focal plane to allow for decent sharpness on both in single shot. Shot using Nikon D500 mounted with Nikon 105mm macro, sb-700 flash with diffuser at f/16, 1/2s, iso160. Processing in Topaz, LR and photoshop mostly to desaturate the green, enhance tonality, highlights and increase contrast.
