Ever since I first visited this location I wanted to capture this scene with the northern lights! This year it happened. I only had three nights here and the first two were overcast with no chance of seeing the aurora, but on the third night the sky cleared up and turned green. Since its a rather wide scene with the bend in the river in the foreground and the northern lights at the top I had to use a crazy wide lens. This was shot with 9mm on a full frame camera
