I captured this shot of a ruby-throated hummingbird on a lovely summer morning when the wildflowers were glistening with dew and backlit by the sun. If you look closely, the hummingbird's beak is visible through the translucent white flower. Captured June 8, 2025 with the Canon EOS R5 and EF 100-400mm lens with EF-RF adapter.
