I was sitting on my brother's deck watching this storm roll over Lake Michigan, so I grabbed my camera and tripod and ran down to the shoreline to take this photo. It was shot w/ my Sony A7RIV at 28mm on timelapse cropped as a pano. Of the many shots, this one caught the lightning and had the best comp.

i like it a lot, but adding a bit of contrast could have made it more dramatic, I am no expert on post production and have only started working with that a couple of years ago, but playing with it can make you see the difference.

Thank you! I know that in my early days of editing, I went a little heavy handed. This one I decided to not push the edges. 🤷‍♂️

I agree with what Cristophe said about the contrast, but also a slight crop from the top, because I keep looking at the blown out part of the sky.

I just made more edits to the file by adding contrast in local areas and decreasing the brightness at the top blown out part. I think it enhances the image. Thank you for the suggestions!!
