I was lucky to get this image because I had not planned to go to this location at all. My inital plan was to hike to Helmet Falls but I took a wrong turn and headed to Floe Lake by accident. When I realized my mistake I almost decided to go back, but decided to continue on to the lake. Right before I got to the lake I found this flower field with a stunning array of variety and number of flowers. I focus stacked and time blended to keep the foreground sharp. The aurora was quite impressive that night and was only 1 of 2 nights in the month long trip that I got to see the aurora.
