Seed corn harvest in Minnesota. This is the first pass through the field (opening up the field). The grain cart driver has to follow close behind as the combine driver shoots the corn up the belt and behind into the cart. I captured with a DJI Air2S drone as the full cobs of corn are harvested into the grain cart. The corn is left on the cob because this is seed corn being harvested to be planted the next year. I had never seen this process before and was really cool to see. I had a chance to talk with the combine driver as he waited in the field for the grain cart drivers to go dump their carts into a semi waiting on the edge of the field.

I was in Kentucky back in October and got to watch the farmers harvest their fields. I never had the opportunity to see anything like that and found it to be pretty neat....my hats off to these farmers!
