Taken at the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, amongst the massive crowds in early December. Taken on a Z8 at 1/160sec 85mm f2.8 ISO 2000 on a Tamron 35-150 f/2-2.8 lens. Edited in Lightroom exclusively. Yes, one of the most photographed artifacts in history, but I love how this turned out.

Amazing piece but I don't like the lighting
Pretty tough environment... There are a couple hundred people around the mask... you maybe get about 30 sec up close...plus you are shooting through display glass. I'd love to have a private session with the piece but that is just not possible.
Idk how to put this nicely, but I very much disagree with the community here. If this is not the definition of a snapshot, IDK what is.
It’s not just a snapshot, elements like the height and angle to the composition, has been considered.
It's the eye level shot of King Tut's mask on display...the angle and composition you get by walking up, lifting your camera, and clicking the button.
