Taken at the brand new Grand Egyptian Museum in early December, just 1 month after its grand opening. Everyone crowds the front to take a picture of this giant statue of Ramses II, but I came across this back view and angle that made the translucent alabaster stone front look like it was shooting out of Rames' hand like fire. Combined with the reflection from the pool and the overall architecture of the entrance lobby; it just made for a stunning photo in my opinion. Shot handheld on a Z8 at 16mm 1/500s f/2.8 ISO 6400 with a Tamron 16-300 f/2.8 lens. Edited and color graded in Lightroom.
