Snapped this in a deltaic natural reserve at the beginning of the year. It was after the first and only snowfall of the year in the area. It had been snowing for a few days and it was supposed to be the first day where the sun would come out. Was hoping to see more of the birds that keep on staying through through the winter but it was too cold after the clouds had gone and the water was still frozen in most areas so they were probably still hiding among the reeds in the morning. Managed to snap some sparrows that were less shy. The sunrise light was gorgeous but I thought a had no subject. Then, at home, during culling, I noticed this one sparrow with a droplet on its beak.
