I came across this collapsing stone farm structure emerging from an open winter plain near New Era, Michigan. Its fractured walls and sagging roof slowly surrendering to time and weather. Snow drifts gather against the building’s base, softening the scene even as the cold emphasizes its isolation and decay. Once a place of shelter and labor, the structure now stands exposed to the elements.

This was taken on a frigid winter day after several days of lake-effect snow and high winds with my Canon 5D Mk IV, and the 70-200 2.8L IS USM II. 1/250th sec, f/9, ISO 100. Slight cropping, levels, contrast adjustments done in Darktable (Linux equivalent of Lightroom)
