First snow.
Perfect time for a recon flight.
.
I launched out of curiosity — and quickly found myself mesmerized. The world below had transformed, wrapped in a quiet, weightless mantle of white. Paths, rooftops, even empty benches turned into soft sketches in the frost. Everything felt still, suspended between seasons.
.
And then there it was — the pool I knew from warmer days.
No longer blue and buzzing with life… but muted, iced over, and hauntingly still.
.
What was once a place of summer rhythm now stood frozen — like a memory caught mid-breath.
.
That’s the magic of exploring from above:
the familiar becomes unfamiliar,
and even a silent winter pool feels like the start of a new discovery.
