This image - Contretemps - was captured in burst mode with my OM1 Mark2 equiped with 150-400 pro lens at 300mm with shutter 1/3200sec, f4.5 and iso 3200. The image was imported in LR and denoised then subsequently converted to black & white. I increased the the exposure and sharpness on the birds. This image for me is all about an argument. The birds embrace claws and flap wings as each fights for territory. The challenges in creating the image dealt mainly with the low light and the high shutter speed required to freeze most of the action. Then to capture the 'embraced' moment required many shots.
