"Backlit Bliss"

Photographing this moment involved luck more than anything. As I was hiking a trail in Glacier National Park, I noticed this ground squirrel foraging close by. I dropped down to ground level and waited. He/she happened to stand up to soak in the smell of these seeds for just for a second, while also being backlit by golden light. Years later, I still consider it to be one of the cutest wildlife moments I've captured.
