This was shot in the shade of a warm afternoon in Paris. The mix of people with wide-ranging expressions caught my attention. The emotions appear to range from happy to concerned, to distressed, to wonder. I shot from the waist using the flip-up screen. It is slightly blurred due to the low shutter speed as a result of not resetting my ISO after exiting a low-light situation indoors. (Live and learn...). Still, I like the image for its classic Parisian cafe composition, as it makes me ponder what each person is thinking. Though it was shot in RAW, I converted it to black and white in Lightroom with a touch of contrast, clarity, vignetting, and little else.
