Cooling in a Majestic Resting Place - The Taj Mahal: The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to act as the final resting place for his wife Mumtaz Mahal (as well as Shah Jahan himself). This architecture is considered as one of the top wonders of the world. Constructed in complete white marble - which is very cool to touch. This photo is taken on an extremely hot afternoon, from inside - near the main entrance. With close to over 100degree F temperature outside, when someone steps inside they instantly get an expression of feeling cool with the touch of marble. This photo is showing a mother and child entering the the Taj Mahal and feeling relived of the outside heat. Photo taken on 11/10/2015.
