We had finished our last day on land in Antartica when I saw the moon rising over what I could just make out as my last view of land. I rushed outside, without my jacket, to get a clear shot. It was night, I was using a heavy 200 - 500mm lens, the boat was moving through rolling seas and I was shivering in the cold. I would have liked a very fast shutter speed but it was too dark. So I upped the ISO to 2000 and hoped the in-camera stabilization would do the trick at 1/60 sec, f 5.6.

Neat shot! I like how the moon peaks over the horizon, soon to be overcome by the cloud cover.
