A sudden rare late summer lightning storm rolling over Puget Sound, Washington. Taken @ 20mm / f4.0 for 20sec on a Nikon Z9 balanced on my deck railing...was no time to grab the tripod. This was the first shot - I lucked out getting a second strike several seconds after the first strike that served to fill the frame. The storm disappeared as fast as it came on - easy come / easy go. Get it when you can!
