Shot on the Argentina/Uruguay border while photographing golden dorado fishing for Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, I believe it is a Great Egret, and I shot it with the bright late-afternoon sun on it, cranking the shutter speed up to 1/8000 and stopping down to f/10 to kill the light on the grassy bank behind it, then processed it into a black-and-white in Lightroom.
