This photograph was taken one night last fall during a herping trip to north Florida. We had spent most of the evening looking for snakes, but there just wasn't much moving until we ran across this beautiful corn snake (Pantherophis guttatus). Photograph was taken with a Canon R5 mki, RF15-35mm f/2.8L, Speedlight 430EX III-RT flash, and Vello FD320 Softbox. Settings were 24mm, f13, 1/160, ISO 200, shot in full manual mode.
