Living on a shitty council estate has two things going for it; close proximity to noisy rail and road infrastructure they won't build where the rich folk live, and not much else.
Feeling bored one afternoon I went for a stroll with the camera, hoping I wouldn't get mugged by the local crack heads who'd leave me in a crumpled mess on the floor while flogging my expensive camera down the local boozer for pennies on the pound to finance their next score.
I wandered over to the railway line and briefly thought about escaping this hell hole of a living situation by attempting to stop a Class 153 Super Sprinter with my face.
Instead, for a laugh I thought I'd try a half second exposure as the Transport for Wales unit came charging towards me like a snail.
The result you see before you. I wasn't intending on entering it into a contest, but a close friend of mine, and fellow FStopper, who is a far better photographer than I ever will be was impressed by it and insisted I submitted it here.
Or maybe he just doesn't like me very much, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
