Floating Forest

A cluster of trees appears to rest like a floating island in the sky. The shot was taken during a hike along the Levada do Castelejo on Madeira. The two image layers were combined directly at the time of capture using the Panasonic GX80’s in-camera double exposure function.

Post-processing in JPG-Illuminator was limited to a slight exposure correction and adjustments to white balance and vibrance.
