Adobe Makes $9.99 Photography Plan Permanent

That's right, the highly popular Photography Plan that Adobe seemed to continually threaten was going to be a limited-time deal, is finally a permanent pricing fixture. They are removing Behance Pro Site from the bundle, but it does contain Photoshop, Lightroom (on desktop and mobile) and now integrates the newly announced Photoshop Mix.

They will continue the same pricing model of $9.99, but you don't have to have owned a previous Adobe product to now qualify. That means anyone can get this deal at any time, which eliminates the slight barrier for those people who had never purchased an Adobe product before.

If you signed up for the $9.99 offer at the beginning of the year, are you grandfathered in?

It sounds like after 1.5 yrs of trial & error with the pricing structure, Abobe figured out thru supply & demand what the market will bear.

I wish they kept Pro Site as a part of the bundle. Anyway, looks like a good option for iOS users as you can benefit from mobile apps.

From my perspective (Windows & Surface tablet user), it seems that I merely get PS+LR. Can anyone tell me what's included in 'web' service?

Hm ... bye Gimp, hello Photoshop? Still not sure ...
