Canon recently announced its newest cinema camera, the C300 Mark III, which features a variety of improvements over the Mark II. This excellent video takes a first look at the new camera and what sort of footage and experience you can expect from it in practice.
Coming to you from ProAV TV, this great video takes a look at the new Canon C300 Mark III Cinema Camera. The C300 Mark III comes with a new Super 35 Dual Gain Output sensor with a whopping 16 stops of dynamic range, Cinema RAW Light in 4K at up to 120 fps (2K crop at 180 fps), and Dual Pixel Autofocus with Touch AF and face detection. In addition, users can switch between EF and PL lens mounts. The camera also features support for 2.0 and 1.33 anamorphic lenses, electronic image stabilization, Log 2 and Log 3 gamma modes, 4.3-inch rotating touchscreen, four-channel audio recording, support for custom LUTs, proxy recording for a faster post-processing workflow, and a modular design for accessories and expansion units and for reducing its footprint for mounting on a drone.

The c200/c300/c500 all show the huge advantages of a real video camera over DSLR's wanting to be a video camera. People hoping that the R5 will be some sort of miracle with 8k are nuts, better off buying a blackmagic to do serious video work.
