Here is a thing I did with lots of Photoshop, time and then a little more time.

Where there is light, there will be shades of darkness. One cannot exist without the other. A balance must be struck. For the closer you are to the light, the greater your shadow becomes.

I like it, I would add more glow on the blue sabers and a spectral highlight map and displacement map on the metal of the walker and troopers.
