August Challenge - ABSTRACT

In celebration of the Fstoppers July contest, our August challenge will focus on another of our core group themes - ABSTRACT.

What we're looking for here are those images that take us away from our everyday and literal view of life.

Also, I am NOT looking for those entered into the contest, or even best presentations of your work (although you can provide those for critique if made clear in discussion). What I am hoping for are images that show creativity - those that open up discussions, showing techniques that might inspire others.

I will leave it up to the individual to decide what is abstract or not, but I would ask that a description of the technique used is included if appropriate, so others may provide comment or questions.

As much of my own work might fall into this category I will provide only a quick variety here. My goal is to group others by technique used in individual posts so I can better display and explain particulars.

If you have any specific questions on any of these images let me know.
