August Abstract, Part 3: Paper

With this series of photos I used various pieces of paper, some because of color and others for the texture. All use extension tubes and in-camera multiple exposures. All shots used a

#1 base is a piece of black cardstock on top is layered a sheet of grey (granite) 24 lb. 25% cotton paper, a brown lunch sack and a 4" x 6" premium glossy photo paper. Triple exposure.

#2 "A Day at the Beach" is a piece of torn paper, slightly separated and placed on top of the more paper. This is four exposures is a "random" placement. Colorization was accomplished through editing.

#3 "Morning Paper" is the same paper as in #2 except there are nine exposures. The scene reminded me of farm land, so I chose to edit in the theme of a landscape at blue hour.

#4 "Paper Twist" is also nine shots with the twist coming from the camera. I edited to enhance the rough edges of the paper.

Nice idea, Dean. When I scrolled down at first without reading, my brain saw landscapes. Once I stopped to really look and then read, it was clear. Wow; I really appreciated this project!
