October Challenge - Fall into color

My home in Vermont is currently awash with Fall foliage. Vibrant colors signal the end of summer and as a lead up to a monochromatic winter season.

This month's challenge will be a celebration of color - NOT restricted to Fall but ANY image where color is a key ingredient. This can be a still life, a sunrise, colorful garbage...... you get my drift....
I encourage all to get outside and search for color in your world should you have the opportunity, otherwise present for discussion images you may have where color is key.

Just to kick off I'll add rough edits of a couple of pics I took yesterday - these may not be exciting, but I just wanted to provide something current.

Whether contributing yourself or not please don't forget to comment on posts from others to keep discussions active.

Thaks for posting David. It looks like that one solitary tree is hanging on as others have shed their leaves.

Vermont foliage seems muted this year compared to what is normal, perhaps due to the extended summer drought we have been witnessing. Different, but still beautiful!

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
